Having seen some of David's excellent animal portraits, I approached him to find out how much it might cost to have him paint a portrait of our dog, Leughan. I thought the cost was extremely reasonable, given the enormous amount of effort and attention to detail that goes into David's work so I decided to proceed with the painting as a Christmas present for my wife, Elizabeth. The finished result was amazing. As Elizabeth unwrapped the painting, I could see tears welling up in her eyes and she was totally lost for words. Never before have I managed to come up with a gift which has been so much appreciated and valued.
